figlet software package provides Make large character ASCII banners out of ordinary text, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install figlet
figlet is installed in your system.
Make ensure the figlet package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep figlet *
You will get with figlet package name, version, architecture and description in a table
